Couch Boy Music

Couch Boy, aka Chris Mackie, is a Glasgow-based musician, DJ and remixer. He has been DJing for about 12 years, mostly in and around the Glasgow/Edinburgh areas. He started off as mainly playing jazz and funk influenced drum n bass and progressed into playing more eclectic sounds. Over the years he has had residencies at the Soundhaus (Glasgow), The Liquid Lounge (RIP – Glasgow) and The Honeycomb (Edinburgh). Chris is also a popular choice as a DJ at weddings, birthdays, gallery openings and the like; having a large record collection and an interest in music that can accommodate most occasions and tastes.

Chris recently DJ-ed at the highly successful and rated Imaginate Festival event, ‘We Dance, Wee Groove‘ at the Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh.
